Public Tours

Couple of up and coming public tours in May and June

Friday May 19th 6.15 for 6.30 start. REVOLUTION, REFORMATION AND UNDERGROUND RAILWAYS

Walking tour of historic London’s most politically radical district – Clerkenwell – with London Blue Badge Guide, Sean Mitchell.

Tour will mark the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, and we will see where both these world-changing events had their most dramatic impact on London’s history. We will also be visiting the place where that other revolution, the Industrial Revolution, created the very first underground railway in the world.

£10 per person. Assemble in front of Barbican Underground Station from 6.15 for a 6.30pm kick-off, and we will finish near King’s Cross Road.

The tour will last 1.5-2 hours, depending on whether we have a mid-way pub stop.
